  1. The eyedropper tool was very useful in my project because I was struggling to match the the colors in the original magazine with the colors in my new one. I completed the background of my project first and it was very helpful when I was trying to match the border colors. Magic wand tool was also great because it made it easy to cut out myself for the cover. - Aishu R.

The tool that was the most useful was the color sampler tool. I used the color sampler tool to find which color the magazine had used for its text. By doing this, I could make my text the same color as the magazine. This is why it was very useful with this project.

  18. I found the text tool the most useful, my magazine cover is full of text and in order to recreate all of the text I have to use the text tool. There are so many options within the text tool including the character panel which also was very helpful.

The tool I found most useful was from the options bar at the top, transforming images. Since I couldn't find a text that matched the one on the magazine I had chosen, I chose one that was similar, and skewed and scaled it to my liking.

  20. During work on my Photoshop Project, I have used the magnetic lasso tool a lot. This tool is very helpful when you want so select a specific part of an image. This works best on a plain background, but I made it work on a busy background. Sometimes, you have to manually click points when there is a busy background.

  21. The tool that I found to be the most helpful while working on this project is the eraser tool. This is because when using the different marque tools sometimes not all the pixels that need to be removed are, and then the eraser tool swoops in and saves the day. But I think that the tools played off each other to make the result that I want.

  31. The tool that I found to be the most useful while creating my magazine in photoshop was the ruler. While the increments on the ruler are useful on their own, for measuring the length of an image and such, the real usefulness of the ruler is to create vertical and horizontal lines anywhere on the image with precision. These lines are not layer dependent, so they stay on when you remove or hide certain layers. This means that you can have the actual magazine cover as one layer, and mark where everything is, and then hide that layer and use those lines as an accurate reference. This makes the magazine so much more precise then it would be otherwise, which is why it is an invaluable tool.
